Human Robot Interaction is becoming an important field in computer science as robots are now working closely with people in industries, education, and healthcare. A major difficulty in this collaboration is that humans often cannot clearly understand what a robot is about to do or why it is acting in a certain way. This paper presents an Augmented Reality Driven Human Robot Interaction Framework designed to make cooperation between humans and robots more natural, safe, and effective. The framework uses augmented reality to show visual information such as robot motion paths, task areas, and safety zones directly from the user’s view. By linking real time sensing with visual feedback, it helps people predict robot actions, avoid mistakes, and reduce the chance of accidents. The proposed system is implemented using the Unity environment and the Robot Operating System for simulation. Results from experimental tests show that participants complete shared tasks more quickly and with higher accuracy when supported by augmented reality visual guidance compared with ordinary screen-based displays. The findings suggest that using augmented reality in human robot interaction improves understanding, increases safety, and builds greater human trust in robotic systems. Future research will extend this framework to multiuser settings and include recognition of human gestures and emotions to create smoother and more adaptive interactions.
